Spreading hops to Virginia :-)

Here's the proof. Pics of the rhizomes I shared with my brother-in-law. Already sprouting.

Where in the Commonwealth is your bro? I grow Cascade, Nugget, Fuggles and Perle just outside of Richmond.

Thanks for stopping by. Any advice for him. Last I heard he wasn't impressed with their progress, but, I haven't seen any pictures.

Mine never got over 8 ft. the first year, but in the second they hit 20+, so he just needs to be patient. He'll be much happier next year. That part of the state gets more rain than we do, so that's good too.
