As you can tell, I've been fulfilling my need to tinker by making Philly Beer Week event maps. I know it isn't homebrew related, but, it does represent one of the reasons I got into blogging in the first place, tech tinkering. Anyway...
The question on my mind, "How could I use online maps and homebrewing together?" What do you think? Any killer homebrew apps just waiting to be built?

Aside from mapping "big brew day" locations and other AHA or homebrewing related events I'm not sure. Beermapping already has homebrew stores on their maps so that would mostly be a waste to duplicate. If I think of anything else I'll chime in.
Maybe a map with homebrewing law listings? Competitions?
Thanks EcOd. Maybe I should shoot an email over to AHA. Law listings...hmmm...competitions...
Hey Adam,
I've been looking for regional brewery tour maps. Look at an example. Say you knew you wanted to go to New England for a three day weekend. You'd want to go to Magic Hat, Otter Creek, and Harpoon, Smuttynose, Redhook, and Sam Adams. The question would be what is the best route? Where do I eat? Where do I sleep? When is the best time to go to hit the special events at the brewery? A clever guy and Google Maps could put together some killer trips?
How does that work for you?
Thanks for the idea Mark.
