Yeast and home made beer...er...flatbread...



Hey if Earth Bread and Brewery found success with flatbread and brewing beer, why can't I. Perhaps on a smaller scale? The photo above reflects my activities of late. Check out this book for a killer 100% wholewheat flatbread recipe, Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day: 100 New Recipes Featuring Whole Grains, Fruits, Vegetables, and Gluten-Free Ingredients. Just made five small pizzas for the family tonight.
  • barbecue chicken, garlic and onions
  • roasted pepper, onion and garlic
  • hot peppers, chicken, sun dried tomato, garlic and onion
  • parmesan chicken
  • our old standby...cheese pizza
Will I use the entire bag of baking yeast before I brew my next batch of beer? Hmmm....

Just wondering if fermentation Friday is still alive?

Well, yes it is. It might be in a cryogenic stasis or hungover, but, it is alive.
