I have two cornies of barleywine, 1.5 of cider, one porter and some garbage pale ale sittin' around. The barleywine comes off a bit sweet when tasted at room temp in the basement. I'm hoping carbonation and a cooler temp will cut that a bit.
What the heck have you been up to? Leave a comment. I'm desperate to know I haven't lost my audience ;-)

Finally made a trip to see Mike at Artisan Homebrew to pick up ingredients for the Chocolate Cherry Imperial Stout with fresh (well, they were fresh before we froze them?!) sour cherries for the secondary. This will be interesting, I'm sure.
Wait while I pick myself up off the floor ;-) Cool. Couple different ways you could go about that I guess. Let me know when your brewing.
It's gonna be a big one. OG a couple of ticks over 1100...big grain bill. New wort chiller (homemade by Patty, remember?)..and fresh cherries...could I have picked an easier recipe? I'm thinking this weekend coming up perhaps.
Brewing my first lager. Let's hope it turns out well.
I started a new blog. I also made some beers for the AHA club-only comps and went up to UMMO. My kegerator now has a tire chuck on it to force-carb pop bottles too.
