Spring morning...

sitting in place
light creeping around
bringing color to black and grey

life creeps out
from the ground
from the air
from all around
bringing color to the grey

a feeling of wonder
growing from nowhere
taking over, giving life

a sense of being
and wonder
even fulfillment

I decided to get up early for a workout which isn't exactly my normal routine. Sitting in our sun room watching the light of an overcast day come over us. Thinking about those hop sprouts breaking through the dirt. Listening to the birds and the traffic build. Watching the dog stretch and waiting for my family to waken. Thought I would share it with you.
